Nothing reminds me of my childhood like the smell of a roast cooking all day. I remember gatherings at my grandparents with the whole family spending the entire day together while dinner cooked. I remember waking up to the smell of onions and garlic sizzling in butter. I also remember that it's the first thing I cooked at Chop's when I took over the kitchen. It feels good in the belly, it smells good, and it damn sure tastes good. It's one of the recipes that means the most to me so I thought I'd share crock pot version with you!
You can also opt to make a gravy on the side once the roast is done cooking by using the broth from the slow cooker. Check out the recipe below!
Update on Slow Cooker Challenge; last week was a bit tough, I didn't read some of my new recipes through and didn't realize until cooking day that some had multiple steps and we wouldn't be able to just dump and go. FYI, dump recipes and slow cooker recipes aren't necessarily the same thing.
